Shy Wolf Sanctuary News Updates |
PRESS RELEASE - July 12,
2012
Today
we met with county code
enforcement as well as
representatives from
zoning and business tax
receipt offices at collier
county.
Shy
Wolf Sanctuary is bringing
their existing facility
into compliance with
county code requirements
and expects to be in
compliance today.
Collier
County is assisting the
Sanctuary to process an
application for a new
future home in a new
location in a zoning
category that will allow
the sanctuary to fulfill
its mission and vision
with a conditional use
approval.
We look
forward to working with
Collier County during the
transition.
Moving
to a new facility will
require a few months and a
successful capitol
fundraising campaign.
This is extremely
difficult to undertake
while funding continuing
existing operations and
care for the animals in a
hard economy.
The
Sanctuary will need and is
actively seeking sponsors
to assist with the
transition and completion
of the new facility. |
